We are an active and vibrant club in the community. At our meetings, we hosts speakers from the local area and beyond to share information about organizations, happenings, events and interesting topics. We host and/or participate in many different events each year the most widely recognized is the Holiday lights parade, others include our Annual Senior Breakfast, Kiwanis One Day, Annual PA Walsh Food Drive, Election day ballot couriers, Kiwanis Giant Inter-club, Hot Dog concessions at the Friday Night Music Series and our Annual "All you can eat" Cioppino Feed. Newcomers and visitors are welcome to join us at our meetings. We'd love to have you!

Glenn Pomeroy, CEO of the California Earthquake Authority will speak to our group. Glenn has been traveling around the state to meet with community leaders and stakeholders about the organization’s exciting new programs and initiatives launched this year regarding earthquake preparedness. The presentation offers insight regarding California’s high risk for an earthquake, and the benefits of a community having the ability to prepare and recover from this kind of natural disaster. Additionally, Glenn covers the potential economic consequences often caused by the aftermath damages of a significant earthquake, and the tremendous effect on homeowners and the growth of business.
